MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THORGANBY PARISH COUNCIL HELD AT THORGANBY VILLAGE HALL ON MAY 11 2010

PRESENT:   Cllr Paul Tulip (Chairman), Cllr David Clegg, Cllr Elizabeth Garnham, Cllr Doreen Knott,

                    Cllr David Woolgar, Cllr Chris Wright, D. Cllr Bill Inness.

1.       APOLOGIES:  Cllr Andrew Dudley-Smith

2.       The Minutes of the AGM held on Tuesday May 5 May 2009 were approved unanimously and signed.

3.       CHAIRMAN’S REPORT.  Cllr Tulip read to the meeting the Chairman’s Annual Report (copy attached to the minutes)

4.       ELECTION OF OFFICE HOLDERS.

a)      Chairman – Cllr Paul Tulip was re-elected as Chairman proposed by Cllr Garnham, seconded by

       Cllr Clegg.

b)      Vice Chairman - Cllr David Woolgar was re-elected as Vice Chairman proposed by Cllr Tulip, seconded by Cllr Wright.  

5.       ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES.

6.       a)  Conservation – Cllr Chris Wright was re-elected as Conservation Representative proposed by      

          Cllr Clegg, seconded by Cllr Garnham.

c)       YLCA – Cllr Elizabeth Garnham was re-elected as YLCA Representative proposed by Cllr Clegg,      seconded by Cllr Wright.

d)      Village Hall – As there was no Village Hall representative proposed it was unanimously agreed to ask Joy Stromberg the Chairman of the Village Hall Committee for copies of the Village Hall Committee Meetings.

7.       ANY OTHER BUSINESS.

     None
